What do you dare to dream? It’s a fairly simple question, but one many of us have a hard time answering because of all the limitations and conditions we allow to frame our answer. To dare to dream is to unapologetically dream the dreams of your heart regardless of your age, circumstances, insecurities, or others’ opinions. It’s to refuse to allow where you are to limit the magnitude of your dream, whether you decide that you want to do something big or something small. It’s to imagine that you can be, do, have, or create something that exists first in your heart and mind only and that may defy your present circumstances. And you have to do it with no shame, no regret, and no apology for wanting what you want.

Dare to Dream A Dreamer Manifesto Valerie Jeannis Books

I had a conversation with God and I asked Him,
“Who should I write this book to?”

He responded,
Write this book to the fun, the fearless, the purpose-driven,
The ones who want more than the lives that they’re living and are prepared to do something about it,
The ones who are willing to accept the almost certain reality that they will be talked about, misunderstood, and rejected.

God, what should I tell them?

Let them know about the necessity of a dream, the price of the pursuit, the price of aborting the dream.

Write this book to the unquenchable dreamers,
The relentless ones,
The misunderstood ones,
The tired dreamers and the ones just starting out.
Let them know they are not alone.
Remind them it’s possible.
Remind them they can do this.

Write this book to those who dare to dream and pursue their dreams
And tell them to keep moving forward no matter what.

But God, what if …

You got this.
